CANADIAN CANCER RESEARCH SOCIETY
In 2017, my girlfriend and I decided to raise awareness for the Cancer Research Society and participate in something that is meaningful. The challenge was twofold: 1. Climb the Kilimanjaro which is the highest mountain in Africa, and 2. Raise 25,000$ towards the Cancer Research Society.
Raising 25,000$ in only a few months was definitely the hardest par of the journey. Thankfuly, we found enough support and managed to reach our goal.
This video will show you a glimpse of our journey to the roof of Africa.
Small country with a big history. Spectacular temples, beautiful islands and beaches, and a rich cultural heritage, Cambodia is home to some of the nicest people I've met.
Hands down the most beautiful beaches I have seen in my life, amazing food and rich history. Stone Town, which is the island's capital, is a mesmerising mix of influences from Africa, Arabia, India and Europe.
Tanzania is home to beautiful national parks and one of the greatest wildlife-watching destinations on earth. We were privileged to visit Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, a renowned natural wonder and Unesco World Heritage Site.
At 5896m, Mt Kilimanjaro is Africa’s highest mountain and one of the world's highest volcanoes. As part of our challenge to raise awareness for cancer, our group spent 8 days treking on one of the continent's most magnificent sights.
My girlfriend and I were invited to our friend's wedding in Jordan. We absolutely loved the people, the friendly towns and inspiring desert landscapes. The spectacular sandstone city of Petra was definitely a highlight of the trip!
In 2013, I quit my job to travel the world alone for a year. To this day, I consider it to be the best decision I took in my life. These are just a few pictures I captured throughout the journey.
